CBSE Class 10 Two-Board Exam Policy – What is it?

1)  CBSE is planning to conduct two board exams in one academic year considering students’ concerns.

2)  Every student must appear in the first board examination — this will be treated as the main board exam.

3) The second board exam is only an opportunity to: a) improve marks,    b) get better results   c) clear compartment subjects.

4). If a student is not satisfied with the first exam result, they can appear in maximum three subjects in the second exam.

5) If a student gets a compartment in any subject, they may appear in the second board exam under the compartment category.

6) If a student wants to change a subject, they can appear for that changed subject in the second exam.

7) But if a student does not appear in the first board exam in three or more subjects, they cannot sit in the second board exam.
