WORLD BANK LOAN AMT $1.5 BILLION

As of 2024, India has secured significant loans from the World Bank to support various developmental projects. Recent approvals include:

  1. $1.5 billion to accelerate India's low-carbon transition, promoting renewable energy, green hydrogen development, and climate finance​ (World Bank) (World Bank).
  2. $562 million for three projects: an education project in Gujarat, a social protection program in Tamil Nadu, and a post-pandemic recovery project for the fisheries sector​ (Business Today).
